Meanwhile, the Great Central Railway
(Nottingham) was looking back to 1972 over the weekend
of February 13-14 when another National Railway Museum
treasure – prototype HST No. 41001 – made its first runs with
a train of matching Mk3s. The 125 Group-owned coaches were
